I didn’t grow up with the guidance I once wished for. I didn’t have a map or a model. All I had was the quiet ache of not knowing who I was, or where I was going.

My early 20s were filled with repeating painful patterns. I was DISSOCIATED, DISCONNECTED, and living a life that didn’t feel like mine. I was having so many troubles with my relationships especially in my family life. One day I stumbled across a tarot reading on Youtube. The reading was speaking about family dynamics and it described MY EXACT situation in perfect detail that brought me to the point of tears. At that time I was very distant from my mom and we didn’t have that close of a connection. That reading was a HUGE wake-up call for me. It helped me get a ZOOMED OUT perspective of why we didn’t have the same mother-daughter relationship that I had wished for and the part that I played in it. I knew the CHANGE had to START WITH ME. Just like that.. a curiosity to know more about myself and my ability to heal was BIRTHED and a DOMINO EFFECT was created. I began to question who I was and who I was showing up as in life which created the space for me to feel EMPOWERED to actually become a new version of me and realize that THIS is who I TRULY AM beneath all the wounding and pain that I experienced as a kid. Needless to say I called my mom on the spot and we have been INSEPERABLE and BEST FRIENDS ever since. You can call it a coincidence, or right timing, but I TRULY KNOW that my spirit guides orchestrated that chain of events so beautifully because they LOVE me THAT MUCH.

From that moment in time Tarot became SO immensely IMPORTANT to me and my journey. In a very magical way I wouldn’t be where I am without that tarot reading and I wouldn’t have been able to wake up to my own INTUITIVE GIFTS and ABILITIES and my own capacity to understand and interpret energy for myself and others to HEAL deeper. This was the moment I woke up. This was the moment I remembered who I was.

And now I choose to heal. To grow. And to start again. Over and over.
